I am recognized by others as a daughter, a friend, an aspiring entrepreneur, a psychology enthusiast and a wanderlust. (To add on, I’m a feline lover and a salted popcorn junkie!)
I’ve always had a zest for writing, amongst my other passions. Going back and forth with the thought of starting a blog, I finally decided to jump into the “blogging bandwagon.” (I know that my cat is happy to hear of this – it doesn’t have to hear me sing my rants away to its poor ears that much anymore!)
Everyone has a “secret formula” as to how they are made/shaped into who they are as a person today, and it can get pretty intensive to go through all the details. So here’s a few things on the list of MY “secret formula.”
I am a non-stop laughing machine.
If you’ve been with me and seen me laugh at a joke/something funny, you’ll also see that after every few minutes (which I call “breathing intervals”), this girl will laugh. Again and again. I just can’t control it, and I don’t think I’d wanna control it because laughing non-stop like a weirdo actually feels good.
Oh and don’t even start with tickles. Tickles are a no-go for me. Tickle me and yeah, I’ll laugh. But I’ll also haunt your dreams when you’re sleeping. Muahaha.
I’m almost always deep in thoughts. And feelings.
While others go on field trips, I go on feel trips. Better still, think-and-feel trips. Well it’s a nice place, which partly explains my frequent visits, but there are also times where I just wanna detach myself from what’s happening for a while and just breathe. Wait, did somebody suggest Yoga? Oh boy, yes please!
My top mind-stimulating topics are…
…business matters, psychology and life goals/vision. I actually get pumped when I immerse myself in these things, but of course my excitement isn’t limited to only these few. Speaking of which, I do have an interest in Biology – cell regeneration, bodily issues, but I get weak in the knees when I’m exposed to videos and stories of bloody-surgery stuff… so I can’t aspire to be a doctor.
I am a crybaby.
Just remind me of my parents’sacrifices, and I’ll cry. Or how the innocent lives living in torture and fear are letting out their final breaths, of how much I have sinned, or when I don’t get to taste salted popcorn in a long time, and I’m all set to go to the Land of Tears. Okay, I kid on that last one. But you get the idea.
I enjoy reading & researching.
I strongly advocate education. KNOWLEDGE. IS. POWER. And I find the process of learning highly stimulating and purposeful. I always have this belief that there’s an abundant of things to learn but so little time. Imagine a world where everyone gets equal opportunity to learn and apply their knowledge – we would all benefit from each other, everyone will be fully functional; even the Earth will be fully functional thanks to our good causes/actions. *heart eyes*
Like some others, I yearn to contribute to making a positive change to this world.
If I were to be a fictional character, I’d want to be Wonder Woman. A lady can dream, yes? Well, Wonder Woman or not, I’d still be working to make my dreams a reality as human being Nadira. In fact, every single one of us can chip in to save the world, too!
It’d be nice if I can meet, befriend and work with like-minded individuals as me. Nonetheless, variety in personalities and visions are equally interesting, too!
That’s about it! If you’re here, then let’s stay in touch. Let’s make a difference in this world, together, shall we? 🙂
Till then, hope you have many blessed days ahead.
Stay positive – live and let live.
